My name is Elisa Generali. I am a dedicated entrepreneur with extensive expertise in event production and design, venue management, hospitality, and a deep understanding of conducting business in Italy.
My aha moment came when one of my suppliers offered to pay me for helping her set up her venue. That’s when I realized that my extensive experience as an event planner could be leveraged to share my expertise and elevate clients, making them more professional, satisfied, and prosperous. Over the years, I had unknowingly played the role of a consultant, providing guidance while on the job —though off the record. It was time to formalise this and establish my own firm, putting my name on it.
Elisa Generali & Co. is the culmination of a decade of hard work in the event industry, extensive consultancy experience, years of running my own businesses, and an ongoing hunger for growth and excellence.

I have a thing for CREATIVITY.
I was born in 1980, which means I had the privilege of being a teenager in the nineties, a time I spent writing my own music, singing and playing the guitar in a band. Creativity has been a constant companion ever since, evolving in shape and form over the years. Today, it fuels my drive to start businesses and bring innovative projects to life.
I have a thing for LONDON and all-things-British Isles.
My love for the British Isles has shaped my life in countless ways. I’ve moved to London three times, lived in Scotland twice, wrote my dissertation on Irish history, and even married an Englishman. Today, I call the Borough of Richmond, London, home, where I live with my husband and our son.
I have a thing for DOING MY OWN THING.
I have co-founded several businesses across event planning, hospitality, hôtellerie and language services.
I have a thing for MANAGING and LEADERSHIP.
Even before launching my own businesses, I had a natural affinity for management. I gained valuable experience working as a manager and project manager in high-end interior design and corporate procurement, both in the UK and Italy.
I have a thing for MOVING AROUND.
Holidays were never enough for me, so I lived in quite a few places in the past including my home town Fano, Bologna and Rome in Italy, in addition to London (three times), Glasgow (twice), Göteborg, Valencia and Albufeira.
I have a thing for LE MARCHE, the Italian region I come from.
Funnily enough, the lesser-known Italian region of Le Marche has recently become a Thing. I’ve dedicated years to promoting it through my event planning business, Merry Le Marche, by creating and the boutique scattered hotel Borgo Loretello.
